The MUNEP (Mersin University Neuroepidemiology Project) with Elan D. Louis      (Columbia University, NY). Principal Investigator.

Genetic Characterization of Movement Disorders, with John Hardy and Andy Singleton at Lab of Neurogenetics, NIH, Bethesda, MD. Co-Investigator.

Disease Support Groups

I regularly give talks to patient support groups for Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer disease.

I am also board member and vice President of Turkish Parkinson Disease Association. 

Professional Activities:

2014 – 2020 Vice President, Turkish Parkinson’s Disease Association

Active Member of Turkish Movement Disorders, Neurogenetics and Sleep Disorders Study Groups.

I am reviewer with Neurology (American Academy of Neurology), Movement Disorders, Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Annals of Neurology, European Journal of Neurology, Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, Neurotoxicology, Parkinsonism and Related Disorders Journals since 2003 and editorial member of Tremor and other hyperkinetic Movement Disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation Journals.
